Terms of service

Last updated 22 October 2026

These terms apply when a restaurant, café or other venue (“you”) uses Reservatio, an online table booking service provided by TAKINDEX LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14037075), registered office 81 St. Georges Manor, Mandelbrote Drive, Littlemore, Oxford, OX4 4TW (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them. Guests who book a table do not need an account; their booking is with the restaurant, not with us.

Your account

  • You must give correct details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including actions by team members you add.
  • You must be at least 18 and allowed to act for the business you sign up.

Free trial, plans and payment

  • New accounts get a free trial. When it ends, guests can no longer book online until you choose a plan. Your existing bookings stay available.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe, at the price shown when you subscribe.
  • We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices.
  • If a payment fails, we will ask you to update your card. If it stays unpaid, online bookings may stop until it is settled.
  • If you move to a smaller plan, venues and tables beyond its limits stop taking online bookings. Nothing is deleted.
  • We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a change applies to you.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Plan & billing. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for, and is not renewed after that. We do not refund part-used periods, except where the law requires it. You can delete your restaurant at any time, which permanently removes its data.

Your guests' data

  • You are the controller of your guests' personal data. We process it only to provide Reservatio to you, following your instructions and these terms.
  • We keep it confidential and secure, only use providers bound by the same duties, and help you answer guests who use their data rights.
  • You are responsible for telling your guests how you use their data and for having a lawful reason to contact them.
  • Our privacy policy explains how data is handled in more detail.

Fair use

You must not use Reservatio to:

  • break the law, or send spam or misleading messages to guests;
  • upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is offensive;
  • try to access other restaurants' data, overload the service, or get around its limits.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we will warn you first and explain why.

The service

We work hard to keep Reservatio running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve or change features. If we remove a feature that is central to your plan, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel.

Liability

  • We are not responsible for losses you could not have expected, or for lost profits, lost bookings or guests who do not turn up.
  • Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email account owners at least 30 days before the change applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can decide any dispute. Questions? Write to info@reservatio.co.uk.
